Yvonne Tollens

Yvonne’s passion for the agriculture industry began in her childhood growing up on a large multigenerational cattle operation in BC, Canada. Today, Yvonne is a director of one of Canada’s most successful agricultural software companies, ComputerAid Professional Services Ltd, which provides solutions to all aspects of the cattle industry. Yvonne’s experience includes working with producers, feedlots, backgrounders, and packers providing her with extensive knowledge of the whole industry.
In 2006, Yvonne won the National RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur – Intel Innovation Award for her 20 years of continual innovation in the agriculture industry and in 2007 she was named one of Alberta’s 50 Most Influential People by Alberta Venture. Yvonne demonstrates her commitment to community and industry by currently serving on the boards of the International Livestock Congress Calgary, the International Stockmen’s Education Foundation, the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency Technical Committee and the Cattlemen’s Chautauqua. She is also a panelist for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Calgary-Eyeopener small business roundtable.
