“The following quote best describes the type of people I met during my experience as a student fellowship recipient, 'Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away they were meant to be there...to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become".
Rebecca Tokach, USA, Texas Tech University

“The friendships I made, the knowledge I gained, and the people I interacted with were second to none...I know that all I learned has definitely helped me take a step further towards accomplishing my major goal-start an agribusiness enterprise that will be in production, processing and export of livestock and horticulture product".
Darlington Sabasi, Zimbabwe, University of Wyoming

“The ILC-USA helped me to become more professionally competent and improve my education and professional abilities.  It was great to meet different people, researchers, sponsors, and other professionals involved in beef production...we must work together to improve the position of beef production in the future of global commerce”.
Daniel Abreu, Brazil, Universidad de Federal Vicosa

What is the Impact of Sponsoring a Student?

By sponsoring a student in the Travel Fellowship Program, you are providing our futures leaders a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with a global audience of livestock and meat industry representatives and to prepare themselves to enter careers in the agricultural industry in the near future. These students are selected from a competitive field of applicants worldwide to receive this highly coveted International Stockmen’s Educational Foundation Travel Fellowship to the 2015 International Livestock Congress-USA.

A multi-national committee will select the fellowship recipients. Scholastic achievement, leadership experiences and professional references are all part of the stringent qualifying requirements.
