Our Mission… International Stockmen’s Educational Foundation

The mission of the ISEF is to serve as a catalyst for exchange among present and future industry thought leaders by creating opportunities surrounding international livestock industry and meat supply chain perspectives and development of educational initiatives on critical issues impacting the industry.

The International Stockmen's Educational Foundation (ISEF) was created in 1986 as a 50l (c) (3) corporation/foundation.

The purpose of the Foundation is to conduct and support educational events that will benefit stockmen internationally; and to foster and support other programs of education that will contribute toward broader and more effective science and technology in the practice of animal agriculture--for the benefit of stockmen worldwide.

The Foundation sponsors the International Livestock Congress each year in Denver, Colorado. The objective of the Congress in recent years has been to focus on major international issues that impact the beef and horse industries. With this focus, the Foundation and its Congress have been successful in attracting key thought leaders from around the world.
